I am as amazed as anyone at what God is working in my life and all of you are a huge part of it. I could not end this year without expressing my deepest gratitude for your support over the last 12 months. So many of you left comments and liked or shared posts, just when I needed a little boost of encouragement. I have so enjoyed crafting with those of you who are local. I look forward to getting to know you all even better in the year ahead, both here on the blog and around My Messy Desk.
Just for fun, I thought I would compile a top ten list to end the year. So, here are the most read posts of 2015. If you missed any just click on the link to get caught up!
10. 6 Steps for Rebuilding After an Attack
4. Who Are You
3. Family Is…
2. I’m Expecting (it isn’t what you think…)
And, drum roll please…
The # 1 most read post of 2015 was Weary Warrior.
In 2016, I plan to continue my expansion by adding a new feature called Word Nerd Wednesday (#WordNerdWednesday). Each week I’ll highlight a single word and dig into it’s true meaning and biblical application. My hope is that these posts will encourage you to dig more deeply in THE WORD. I am excited to introduce you to my friends and fellow writers who will be guest posting for me on Wednesdays!
I’ll continue publishing my regular posts weekly, but they will now come out on Saturday mornings.
I’m working on a few new additions as I continue to merge my writing and crafting. Please pray that God will fill me wisdom and guide me to make decisions that will bring Him glory.
If you aren’t already, subscribe so you won’t miss a single post in 2016. Fill in your e-mail address in the box on the right and each post will be delivered to your in-box. I’m working on some bonus content just for subscribers, too! Don’t forget to like My Messy Desk over on Facebook either!
I would be honored to pray for you in the weeks and months ahead. If you have specific requests feel free to add them in the comments below. Even if you only type “pray” we can all petition for you by name trusting God knows what you need. Also, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].
My heart’s desire is that we would encourage one another to leave behind our Messes and embrace our Memories as we become the Masterpieces God has created us to be by seeking a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 2016.
Much Love,
Liz

I am excited for the new things God is doing in the new year. I am looking forward to #WordNerdWednesday and I hope to feature it at Real Women so all those ladies can dig a little deeper into the Word, too.
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Me, too, Stephanie! I am prepared to be AMAZED! I’d love that. May God’s blessings overflow in the year to come!
I think Word Nerd Wednesday is going to be a fun and helpful feature! Sometimes we get to those big words in scripture and just skip over them because we don’t know what they mean:) Or take them out of context! Looking forward to it, and to a great 2016!
So, true! I can hardly believe how many great writers have jumped at the chance to be involved in it! May God bless you and your family abundantly in the New Year!
